Poster Series: No. 1

If you ever lived in New York City, or any big city, you will be familiar with the posters that are pasted all over the city, at least it sometimes seems that way. Many times these posters/advertisements are pasted on construction sites where you may see the phrase, “Post No Bills,” meaning post no ads which is generally is ignored. I did a series of photographs of these posters back in the late 1970’s. First up, we have The Moody Blues and Edgar Allan Poe. Always a treat to see together.
